Silicon House Pitch English edition.

Since Feb 2016, National Information and Technology Park is holding Silicon House Pitch monthly in order to educate and prepare startup companies to find Venture Capitals and introduce their business to target customers.

This time NITP has launched Silicon House Pitch English edition on 22nd of March in 2017 and event has been successfully organized.

At the beginning of the Pitch the honored guest, Benjamin Gibson, a Business management and fundraising officer at NITP, and one of Australians who has been volunteering in Mongolia. He has shared information about Pitch to the participants.

The judges of the Silicon House Pitch English are as follows:

Alex Raymond:

Alex Raymond has held senior executive positions in Australia and New Zealand across a variety of industry categories that include retail, wholesale distribution and transport.

His last corporate role was as a member on the board for Australian National Couriers where he was also responsible for marketing. Currently he is volunteering with the Australian Volunteers for International Development in Mongolia on business development.

Tim Zafir:

Tim Zafir studied an honors in communications in Canada and has worked as a communications instructor and consultant to the Canadian and Australian government, UNICEF, World Vision, WHO. He is currently volunteering with the Australian Volunteers for International Development in Mongolia to improve disabilities access and training.

Natalie Bye:

Natalie is an Independent Business Consultant, who is specialized in the travel and tourism industry. She has over 25 years of experience across a range of industries and sectors. In her early career she worked on a business-reengineering project for Australia’s largest financial institution. Natalie has worked with large corporates, small start-ups, long-standing family businesses, government departments and NGO’s. She is currently volunteering Australian Volunteers for International Development in Mongolia to strength youth and private sector unemployment.

Ben Gibson:

Ben has a varied background of study and work in science, business, and healthcare and in both private and public organizations. He has varied experience working in pathology, animal research, business development, project management, procurement, public healthcare management and small business creation & development. Currently he is volunteering Australian Volunteers for International Development in Mongolia to improve startup fundraising.

The winner of Silicon House Pitch English was Lkhamsuren.S- “Zaalandaa app” and has been awarded the Certificate of a month free utilization of office space in the TechGer.

The judges were Australian volunteers for International Development and they have advised about startup business based on their experience. An interesting discussion and networking between the judges and participants during the Pitch allowed the participants to learn from international practice.
